Maison Commun invites artists, designers, and architects to create pieces of jewellery based on simple objects, everyday items, keepsakes, or recurring motifs in their production.
This transformation of ordinary items into a cherished and personal jewel is the core philosophy of Maison Commun. The intention is to create an attachment between the buyer and certain artists’ practices through the creation of jewellery-objects and sculpture-objects: be it pendants, mini pocket editions, or even free-standing sculptures.
Maison Commun offers much more than the simple act of wearing a piece of jewellery. The result allows you to grasp an artist’s singularity and story, and see a unique elegance take form. Maison Commun is a publishing house founded by artist, curator, and publisher Patrick Carpentier and graphic designer Isabel Debry.
